Mass Attendance Guidelines
Covid-19
- Attendees at Mass are required to observe Social Distancing by staying 6 feet away from other family units or individuals. Families can sit together, but everyone else is expected to stay at least six feet apart.
- Masks are recommended, but not mandatory, as long as you are able to observe social distancing.
- If you are experiences any symptoms of illness we respectfully request that you refrain from attending mass. Please participate virtually. You are excused from Mass if you are ill, or if you are concerned about possible exposure. You are encouraged to watch the Mass Video or Live Stream provided on this website. For more information, please visit the Diocese of Charlotte, https://charlottediocese.org/coronavirus-update/. The dispensation from Mass does not remove the obligation to keep the Lord’s Day holy; seek to refrain from work, spend time in prayer individually and as a family, and extend charity to others. If unable to attend Mass, you are encouraged to make a spiritual communion
An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen
